The Philosophical Musings of Mr Dre: Scott 'Assange' Pilgrim vs The World
http://thephilospohicalrantingsofmisterdre.blogspot.com/2010/12/scott-assange-pilgrim-vs-world.html
The Philosophical Musings of Mr Dre. Still here. One man. Raging against the world. A smiling assassin. Tuesday, 7 December 2010. Scott 'Assange' Pilgrim vs The World. The whole Wikileaks story recently shows you exactly how the world works. The US plays it's pipe, and every fucker dances to it's tune. C'mon I'm not that idiot in a red fez saying "just like that" (that's Tommy Cooper for those who aren't as old as me). There is no release of truth like that without a political ramification. Assange attac...

The Philosophical Musings of Mr Dre: Will the real me please stand up...

The Philosophical Musings of Mr Dre. Still here. One man. Raging against the world. A smiling assassin. Saturday, 7 January 2012. Will the real me please stand up. So many things that I wanted to say when I sat at the PC to start writing, and now the blank page has rendered my mind the same. Blank. It is in the periods of solitude that I am normally most clear on the things that ail me, and where I find the clarity most enlightening and disturbing in equal measure. I’ve walked before. many time...Most pe...

The Philosophical Musings of Mr Dre: January 2012

The Philosophical Musings of Mr Dre. Still here. One man. Raging against the world. A smiling assassin. Sunday, 22 January 2012. Liberation only comes from acceptance. When I wrote my blog last week, I honestly thought I was writing my last epitaph. The final word as my curtain call beckoned. Convinced that I wanted to leave this world, I thought I would write so people would understand the injustice of depression, and why I wanted to depart. I can tell you exactly what it was. How to resolve that? My ex...

The Philosophical Musings of Mr Dre. Still here. One man. Raging against the world. A smiling assassin. Sunday, 14 February 2010. Aretha. You definitely had a point. albeit a very high expectation level. So, what is it that good men are looking for? So we come to one of the key things we look for. Aretha Franklin summed it up in one word. RESPECT. We can only respect what we know about a woman. We can only respect that we know about a person. Controversial? Hardly radical, but realistic. No We see one pa...

The Philosophical Musings of Mr Dre: Living life in a reversible world
http://thephilospohicalrantingsofmisterdre.blogspot.com/2012/02/living-life-in-reversible-world.html
The Philosophical Musings of Mr Dre. Still here. One man. Raging against the world. A smiling assassin. Monday, 20 February 2012. Living life in a reversible world. Waking up in a world where things are not what they seem, to you, happens very occasionally. That drunken morning, where you’ve woken up on your friend’s sofa, and that split second where you think you know you’re at home; and then you have a moment of panic where you realise you’re not. The strangest thing of all, is that it is often differe...

The Philosophical Musings of Mr Dre. Still here. One man. Raging against the world. A smiling assassin. Saturday, 31 July 2010. Raggy Dolls of the world unite. Rejection. one of the worst feelings ever. I'm not talking about the fleeting rejection of somebody who doesn't know you, rejecting you out of hand at a first meeting. It's the real personal rejection, from somebody who knows your character well enough to see parts of your soul. So, what do you do? I know a few who would think so. I would liken se...

The Philosophical Musings of Mr Dre: March 2010
http://thephilospohicalrantingsofmisterdre.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
The Philosophical Musings of Mr Dre. Still here. One man. Raging against the world. A smiling assassin. Sunday, 14 March 2010. I think therefore I am. When I sat in a classroom eight years ago studying the intricacies of the philosopher’s mind, I never realised how much truth there really was in it. And how the entire statement “I think therefore I am” sums up the human psyche in general. I don’t think even Descartes thought this simple phrase would have so many layers. Absolute and unfettered self-belief.

The Philosophical Musings of Mr Dre. Still here. One man. Raging against the world. A smiling assassin. Sunday, 17 June 2012. The road ahead is not clear to me at the moment. Anybody that knows me well will understand how the difficult decisions I have taken over the past few days have been for me, and those around me. So, how do I go about dealing with this? Let’s just say that this week has been the toughest week of my life. The anxiety is at it’s highest, the worrying is at an all time...Some might sa...
