To finish up on the August blog, we could not take the heat and humidity , changed our plane reservations and headed back to BC a week earlier than planned. Summers in BC are lovely. We will not summer at the beach in Mexico again. 5 minutes and 100 pesos later and we were done. All in all, it's another adventure. Life is good. So how hot is it?

Marnis and Megs Ongoing Adventure. Tuesday, February 3, 2015. Last night we had a terrific tropical storm. Not so much like one from the movies.this one only produced a few rumblings of thunder but there were spectacular lightning flashes behind and through the swirling clouds, along with many brilliant lightning bolts striking down to the ground. I loved it! The wind and the rain rapidly picked up speed and ferocity. Palm branches whipped around as did all the pool toys that I had neglected to gather.

We seem to watch a fair number of movies down here, south of the border, where copies of most are available before the movie appears in theatres (funny how that happens? I am not impressed by too many movies. I find the majority of them are totally predictable, over-rated, and banal. Then along comes " Her. It says it all. I've been so upset about it. I've spoken to various townies to advise I am giving a $500 peso reward for info leading to the safe return of my beloved digital.
