Saturday, May 10, 2014. So to say we have been busy is an understatement. Hopefully these pictures give a bit of a summary of what we have been doing the last couple of months. Next week we will be going camping and fishing up at Shasta Lake and will have the pictures up shortly after. Going up to the lake around the 15th of May always seems like revisiting my childhood and my grandparents. A couple of fun trips to Sky High which hosts a bunch of trampolines. Two crazy A's fans! Monday, October 22, 2012. Rocky Ridge, Sandcastles, and a Whale of a Time! We had a pretty fun weekend, with a lot crammed into the weekend. We ran the Rocky Ridge trail run for the fourth year, went to Ocean Beach for a sandcastle building contest and saw a whale in the process. Sunday, October 6, 2013. Anniversary Weekend at Old Sacramento and a Hike on Donner CanyonTrail. Between last week and this we have been pretty busy. Last weekend, we spent our 16th wedding anniversary with the kids in Sacramento. It was a pretty relaxing trip with a trip on the train, a visit to the train museum and just strolling Old Sacramento. Sunday, September 22, 2013. Time to Do Some Catching Up. Well time flies when your having fun and your computer crashes over two months ago. Its funny on how you make do and realize what really you need a computer for and what is basically a waste of time. Oh well, what has been sorely missing is the update of the rest of summer and the kids going back to school. Sunday, April 7, 2013. Spring break was fun filled with several hikes and runs and a visit from my sister. I had a long deserved 4 day weekend, which was extremely relaxing. Pretty much an awesome spring break. The kids had fun with their friends, with a hike on up in the Briones with the Berhens. Monday, September 1, 2014. Ocean Beach - Warm and Sunny Yeah! So today, since we had a free day off, we decided to go to Ocean Beach. The temperature was in the upper 70's at the beach with the water temperatures about 65. Since it was going to be close to 100 at home, we opted for the 40 minute drive to the beach.
