Thursday, April 22, 2010. Anzac day is very special in our community as Tinui held the first ever ANZAC service in New Zealand. Each year there is a special service held at the community hall and students from the school are chosen to speak. This is a huge honour and we are proud of them. This year the classes have learned more about ANZAC day through books and artwork and discussions. We have had a great start to the term. Labels: participating and contributing. Here are the photos of our healthy sandwiches. It was a group effort and everyone brought an ingredient each. One person bought the carbohydrate, two people brought a vegetable and one person brought the protein. It was great to see the teamwork as everyone helped to make the group sandwich!
