Loving Lily: August 2009
http://stafeilfamily.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Saturday, August 8, 2009. Is it the middle of August already? Somehow the summer has flown by and I have barely posted anything to my blog. Between the kids staying up later and all sorts of other stuff going on, I just haven't had the time to sit down and type anything. Let's see, what has happened since our last camping trip? She loves the seven year old girl two doors down. She has been giving us some challenging night time behavior - she will stay up in her bed for one or two hours after bedtime,...

Loving Lily: 2 years ago today
http://stafeilfamily.blogspot.com/2010/03/2-years-ago-today.html
Wednesday, March 24, 2010. 2 years ago today. Lily was placed in our arms. At that point she was a frightened little girl who cried whenever we put her down and could walk, but barely. She had never heard a word of English and was scared of anything new. Is our post from that day. In two short years, Lily has grown from this. Love the change. She is growing so beautifully! Congrats on this special day. March 24, 2010 at 8:12 AM. March 24, 2010 at 8:51 AM. Shes a beautiful, confident and happy little girl!

She loves to laugh and to make other people laugh. Everywhere we go (almost) she makes people ...I kno...

Loving Lily: Happy Referral Day!
http://stafeilfamily.blogspot.com/2010/02/happy-referral-day.html
Thursday, February 4, 2010. Two years ago today, we received "the call" and saw Lily's face for the first time. I remember the excitement so clearly. I instantly fell in love, but had so many questions. The strongest feeling was that now that I knew what she looked like, I just couldn't wait to hold my daughter in my arms! I would like to write an update on all the kids and will try to do that in the next month or so. Happy Referral Day :). February 5, 2010 at 5:58 AM. Half Gaelic, Half Garlic! She is so...

Wednesday, January 27, 2010. Last week Dylan let me do a very quick photo shoot in exchange for some kind of bribery. I used my favorite shot for my project 365 (see it here. However, I didn't really do much with any of the others, so I figured I'd try it in black and white. Here is the original SOOC. I can't get enough of that toothless smile. He has had it for a LONG time - he lost his first top tooth last April and the second in June! Since then he has lost 2 more teeth that have already grown back in!

August 27, 2009. Paul and Avery waiting for a wave! First experience building sand castles. Last night we made a pitstop. To pick up some beach toys, Avery had to go ahead and test them out while we were in the hotel room:. Yes, that is a sand bucket on her head! We also ventured out last night to eat at the Rain Forest Cafe. We thought Avery would enjoy the scenery and the animals. We were wrong! Avery wasn't too sure about the big gorilla. Outside of the restaurant. So that's our mini- vacay. View my c...
