Mom in the middle. Thursday, 17 January 2013. There are days when simply doing what I NEED to do is the toughest task on the planet - like today. I know I need to sit at my computer and read and write and re-write to make a thesis happen, but suddenly there are so many other pressing tasks. It's not even 10 am and already the smell of pre-cooking our evening meal wafts from the kitchen and I've changed several blown light bulbs, not to mention a number of other equally mundane and non-urgent tasks.
