Grandma and Grandpa Langford. Monday, August 22, 2011. The Uintah mountains with Rent-A-Goat. August 16-20 was a perfect week for hiking a 25 mile loop in the High Uintahs. Special thanks to High Uintah Pack Goats and our new friends Kiko, Black Jack, Oreo, Cooper, Orion and Mask. They carried our stuff, and as their owner would say, became our hiking companions. We met people from British Columbia, Switzerland, India, Florida, Georgia, California, Nevada, and New York. On Saturday we cross country skied along the rim then headed for home.
