I came up with parrot to rhyme with carrot. Then it was her turn. Dylan: Harrot rhymes with carrot! Dylan: You know, harrot the earth? Me: Ohhhhhhh. The meek shall inherit. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The Rhodes Family: August 2008
http://ontherhodes.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
Friday, August 22, 2008. What kind of mom am I? I never know which kind of mom to be.the one that gives you good healthy food on your plate every night and makes you try at least one bite of everything on your plate before you can get down OR the one that gives you good healthy food on your plate every night and trusts that eventually you'll taste, enjoy and learn to love a variety of foods so to not pressure you to eat. I can't decide what is better for them - to make them try everything I have made?

http://ontherhodes.blogspot.com/2009/09/kiddieland-is-fun-for-whole-family.html
Sunday, September 13, 2009. Kiddieland is fun for whole family. We went to Kiddieland back in August, and took our niece, Michaela, along for the fun. The kids had a blast, and so did Jason and I! Kiddieland is a wonderful, clean park. Actually, make that WAS a great park. It closed it's doors for good this month. Something about a family dispute over land and leasing or something. We will miss you Kiddieland. We only went once, but that time was a special one, and we wish we could go back! They look so ...

The Sappy Story of Us. Ten Things I Know To Be True. The Story Behind the Title. The Year of Gratitude. Tuesday, December 31, 2013. What a great year. Correction.what a great year to learn how I deal with life in survival mode. Where in the hell has time gone? Forget about it.I'm not one to dwell on the past, so we won't go down that road. Then this last year a friend of mine from church decided to post something she was thankful for every day for an entire year. I loved it and I'm sort of dreading t...

The Rhodes Family: May 2009
http://ontherhodes.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
Saturday, May 23, 2009. Back to the Beach. I love Pebble Beach. It is the most wonderful place in the summer for me. I feel in an entirely different world, emotionally, mentally and physically when I'm there. We took our first walk to pebble beach this week. And it was marvelous as always. We had the place to ourselves. Noah eating a snack on the rocks. Everyone is just so happy at the beach. Noah spent pretty much all two hours we were there throwing rocks into the lake. Dylan loves climbing on the rocks.
