Christian Motherhood

Sons are a heritage from the Lord, children a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are sons born in one's youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. Psalm 127:3-5

Christian Motherhood: October 2008

http://motherhoodchristian.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html

Tuesday, October 28, 2008. Ashleigh's Fourth Birthday Party. Ashleigh's friends Noah, Mackenzie, Savannah, (Ashleigh) and Brianna making party hats. The adults helping and watching the hat making. The kids having dinner. That's what I was waiting for! Rob's chocolate cake with chocolate glaze and lemon cake with lemon glaze. But Ethan's having fun from the looks of it. He's gotten so much better over the past month and barely falls at all now, but I hope you're as amused as I was watching this!

Christian Motherhood: June 2008

http://motherhoodchristian.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html

Saturday, June 28, 2008. Happy 1st Birthday, Ethan! We had a party last weekend for our little guy's first birthday. First birthdays are so fun and everything is brand new, so it's a blast to watch and sit back and enjoy your child during their party. We had a sun-catcher craft for the older kids (and adults) to paint and also a Finding Nemo pinata from our neighbors next door. Enjoy the pictures and video of Ethan's first piece of cake! Christian Motherhood: Minnesota Adventures

http://motherhoodchristian.blogspot.com/2009/06/minnesota-adventures.html

Wednesday, June 24, 2009. For Tyler's first vacation, I flew with my sister and her husband to Minneapolis, MN, where we rented a car and drove the rest of the way to International Falls (a 6 hour drive straight north to within a mile of Canada). He did great on his first flight, crying only a little bit during take-off and sleeping for nearly the entire drive - a great traveler! I love that last shot of you and your sister! Thu Jun 25, 09:28:00 AM. Cousins are sooo much fun! Im glad you had a good time ...

Christian Motherhood: Ethan's 2nd Birthday

http://motherhoodchristian.blogspot.com/2009/06/ethans-2nd-birthday.html

Wednesday, June 24, 2009. Is it possible my Ethan is already 2? Where does the time go? Rob even won the Skeeball jackpot and got 250 tickets from that one game alone. We got Ethan a toolkit with all our tickets, since it was his birthday, and had pizza, cupcakes, and lots of fun! Here are some pictures from the day. Look forward to talking with you more soon! Tue Jul 14, 08:45:00 PM. Looks like a fun time! Tue Nov 10, 09:56:00 AM. In the days of segregation there were pressures on the black community to...

Christian Motherhood: November 2008

http://motherhoodchristian.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html

Friday, November 28, 2008. Joining us at Rob's parents' house were his grandma Ethel and his Aunt Penny, Uncle Rick, and cousins, Scott and Katie. So fun to see Katie, who's 9, playing great all day with Ashleigh and Ethan! Friday, November 07, 2008. But understand this, that in the last days difficult times will come. For people will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy,. Sounds a lot like America today, but the fact that t...

The daily chronicles of the donegan's. Monday, February 25, 2008. Where do I even begin? This was our third annual Steamboat trip and it was by far the best yet! The weather was perfect, snowboarding was awesome and the time with friends I will forever cherish. We got into Denver early Wednesday morning and took a shuttle to Steamboat. The drive was perfect. We got into town and went to eat pizza at the Slopeside Grill. Best pizza in town. It was wonderful getting back on the slopes again with Michael.

The Adventures of Louie and Schnitz. Saturday, May 23, 2009. I can't tell you how long I've been waiting for this. Well, that phase has passed and he has developed more than a substantial interest.yay! I just had to share the books we got with y'all because I have a feeling that it's not just Brad and I who will be taking a stroll down memory lane with these! And can I just say how happy it made me, in my heart, that he wanted us to read "The Poky Little Puppy" to him three times before bed? My friend, A...

The Doneganian: December 2007

http://thedoneganian.blogspot.com/2007_12_01_archive.html

The daily chronicles of the donegan's. Thursday, December 13, 2007. Growing up we had a family tradition of going to Disneyland at Christmas time. Unfortunately that ended years ago, but we are happily starting it back up again. My sister, mom, the kids and I went and had a BLAST. Noah was super excited when it (fake) snowed and Lauren watched every minute of it. I just stared at both of them as they took everything in. What a gift! Before leaving the park I stopped to take it all in. So many old mem...

Tuesday, April 19, 2011. Laina turned four yesterday and Lia turns one on Thursday. How did this happen? So, we had a little party for them both last Saturday and Laina got to invite a few friends over. I made sparkly flower cupcakes and the girls played "pin the butterfly on the flower". It was much fun and I think both girls had a good time. Well, until Lia tried to extinguish the candle on her cupcake with her hand. Ouch. Here are some pics from the day. Laina photographed this one all by herself!

The daily chronicles of the donegan's. Friday, June 20, 2008. Well we made it to Colorado! Everything has fallen into place just the way it was supposed to. It has been a roller coaster of emotions, but the worst part is over. We love our house and we are happy to be unpacked! Thanks to my cousin Deb for working many hours to find us our home. There are some upgrades that need to be done, but all in due time. No rush. Since I am all rushed out! Noah and Lauren love the big yard. Lots of fun in the sun.

Monday, July 20, 2015. Walk down memory lane, OOTD and mid year sales. One of the things I sometimes do with this blog is check what I was up to this time in years gone by. This month last year, we were lucky enough to go over to Europe for a month's holiday. We barely survived both long haul flights on the way there and back, but it was worth it and we did England, Spain, Portugal and France. I still have these little ugg botties. I do not know why because I do not plan on having anymore kids. We had du...

Confessions of a mom

Tuesday, April 13, 2010. I traveled with my toddler and lived to tell the tail. So until very recently, I hadn't gone anywhere with Finn. Really. No trips at all. And he was 16 months old. In my defense. He really really hated the car the first year of his life. And we had slept over at my mom's, but she's only 45 minutes away. That was pretty much are farthest outing. Admittedly, the drive back was a disaster. This time we tried to time it with his one nap and he just could not fall asleep. He s...I kee...

Motherhood Confessions - Faith, Hope, and on Good days...Love

Welcome to my motherhood journey. I had NO idea being a mom was going to be this tough…or this wonderful. It all started a while back when I had my first mommy tantrum. I had finally had enough of the high expectations and pressure that I had put on myself to be the “perfect” mother. I ‘vented’ for about 5 pages long into my journalanything and everything I could think of that was stressing me out in the world of ‘motherhood’. For the world to see. Read my blog now. Things that make me ME.
