Klimt | Motherhood in prehistory

https://motherhoodinprehistory.wordpress.com/klimt

A blog about archaeological research on motherhood. I love Klimt. I have chosen Gustav Klimt’s ‘Three ages of woman’ as a project vignette. I find it is a very powerful image expressing both the beauty and horror of motherhood. It was painted in 1905 and bought by the Galleria Nazionale d’Arte Moderna in Rome. In 1911, where it is on display. To this date. We have been granted permisson to use this image for our research project by the Ministero per i Beni e le Attività Culturali. Enter your comment here.

I am writing this website for two reasons:. First because I have had trouble find any sites that can tell me where to go in Ottawa with my kid. Second because I have a story to tell. I hope that my story will help others deal with all the fears and hopes that come with being a mother/parent. Fathers, Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles are more then well come as well.
