Tiistai 28. heinäkuuta 2015. Pyörähdys (melkein) vuonon pohjukassa. Seuraavana päivänä matka jatkui. Katsoin taas kartasta mihin mennään, mutta en ehkä harkinnut ihan loppuun asti - tuli nimittäin 400 kilometrin päiväreissu. Ihan hienosti jaksettiin ja oli mukavaa, mutta aika paljon autossa istumista yhdelle päivälle… Muuten olisi voinut yöpyä jossain, mutta olin yksin kotimiehenä ja eläimet odottivat hoitajaansa kotiin illaksi. Takia Palossa tuhoutui lähes 30 rakennusta, ja osa aivan vanhan kaupungin ku...

Lauantai 18. heinäkuuta 2015. Mitä sitten jos siellä sataa ja on kylmä. Täällä on nyt satanut pari päivää ja lämpötilat on nippa nappa kymmenessä asteessa. Toissa yönä mentiin melkein nollaan. Mutta on tuolla valoa, vaikka ei aurinkoa olekaan. Tänään tosin aurinkokin pilkisti sadekuurojen välissä ja menin märkään metsää kameran kanssa. Söin vatsan täyteen metsämansikoita ja hengitin raikasta ilmaa. Märkä metsä tuoksuu suorastaan huumaavalle. 18 heinäkuuta 2015 klo 22.56. 19 heinäkuuta 2015 klo 9.46.

Tiistai 31. maaliskuuta 2015. Vaikka kahdella jälkimmäisellä on surullinen kohtalo, tunsin silti vähän kateuden piston noita ihmisiä kohtaan. Elää elämäänsä tietäen, mikä se oma juttu on. Tehdä valintoja ja suunnata energiaansa siihen yhteen päämäärään. Ja sitten tämä tietenkin käynnisti oman pohdinnan siitä, mikä minun intohimoni tai elämäntehtäväni täällä maan päällä oikein on? Toistaiseksi on tullut enemmän kysymyksiä kuin vastauksia. No, mutta mikä noista on sitten se elämäntehtäväni ja intohimoni?

100 kirjaa x 2. Finlandia, Runeberg ja Nobel. Keskiviikko 27. elokuuta 2014. Kello viiden jälkeen sai ensimmäisen sisältönsä 8.9.2012. Aloitin blogin kirjoittaakseni jotain työelämän ulkopuolista. Jotain omaa. Uskaltaakseni sanoa. Blogi löysi pian muotonsa kirja- ja kulttuuriblogina. It was fun, but it isn't for me anymore. Nyt kello pysähtyy tässä blogissa. Aika aikaansa kutakin. Kiinnostuksen kohteet ja painopisteet muuttuvat, ihmisetkin. It's not the end, it's a new beginning. Hyvää syksyä, Heidi!

Torstai 26. helmikuuta 2015. Nyt siellä on neljä pentua, äitiyttä opetteleva nuori kissaäiti ja emäntä, joka emän heikon maidontuotannon takia joutuu lisäruokkimaan pentuja kahden tunnin välein. Isobel on myös ragdollien tapaan hyvin riippuvainen ihmisistään, eikä halua jäädä yksin hoitamaan pentujaan, vaan suorastaan vaatii itselleen seuraa :). Bergeniläisrouva ei ole saanut montaa tuntia unta viimeisten vuorokausien aikana, mutta sellaistahan se on vauvojen kanssa :). Linkki NRK:n sivuille löytyy tästä.

Sunnuntai 31. toukokuuta 2015. Hevosten kanssa maisemia ihailemassa. Eilinen vähän märkä ja lyhyempi mutta kiva ratsastusreissu meni sateisessa metsässä, mutta tänään päästiin sitten "kunnolla" liikkeelle. Ratsastettiin vanhalle metsurien majalle 600 moh korkeuteen.
