Never a dull moment. Monday, August 31, 2009. Today, in just a few hours, we will load up one of our vehicles and say good-bye to our second born daughter. Today she starts a journey into her adult life. Today she will walk out the front door of this house and she and her dad will drive away the many miles to Fort Myers Florida. It's bittersweet for me her mom. I won't have her large presence here in the home any longer. When American Idol starts she won't be sitting beside me laughing at the auditions.

Tuesday, September 9, 2008. Something New on the Horizon. There is definitely something new on the horizon. The crib and changing table are finally set up (thanks to my wonderful husband and his brother). Things are falling into place. I finally feel like I can relax about preparing for the baby. She's in God's hands and we all know, those are the best hands to be in! I'm not un-employed anymore! I'll work for 1 1/2 months, have 2 off, and go back for 2-3 shifts a week! Not as the Crow Flies

Sunday, July 11, 2010. Sampson Cove and Goose Rocks Beach. Our days were mostly spent between kayaking in Sampson Cove and relaxing on Goose Rocks Beach. Our cottage overlooked the cove and had kayaks that we were able to use during our stay. The catch was that we only had a four-hour window of time to kayak during high tide. The cove completely empties during low tide, so we would be stuck carrying the kayak through the muddy clam beds that line the cove! Notify TMZ - Celeb Sightings! Yeah, I thought so...
