To me, I feel that it is definitely an inapproate act. Sometimes I do see such acts outside, at the bus stop, in the MRT, even on the bus. And when I see this, I feel awkward. I think the rest of the people around them will feel this way too. Hence, to conclude, the way they act is inapproate and if they want to do it, don't do it in public.
