We have an extensive collection of old local photographs, including the Jack Wallace Collection of photos, documents, letters. Family trees, books and magazines with a local slant. Files of info on local institutions such as the silica, the hospital, the schools, the various festivals, all sorts. We could give you a proper list. The society was founded in 1968 with the following aims:. To promote the preservation of the historical artefacts, buildings and landscapes of Milton-Ulladulla and district, first settled in 1828. (Or, first European settlement in 1828). To stimulate and organise research. To give talks and conduct excursions. Revised framed prints, now only available in the large size, 4 kinds of postcard folders each containing 2 postcards are now available. They are reproduced from specially chosen historical photographs held in the historical society's archives. In addition mugs in two sizes have been produced decorated with a colour picture of the restored cottage.
