Mumbles Pier Project

An iconic part of Swansea's heritage, Mumbles Pier holds a special significance for thousands of visitors and residents. Built in 1898, the pier is owned by the Amusement Equipment Company Ltd, a family firm who have maintained the Victorian structure over three generations. It was restored in 1956 but now requires almost total reconstruction. These innovative plans have also seen the recent construction of a new RNLI boathouse sited at the pier-head.
