Tuesday, August 11, 2015. 2 cups AP flour plus flour for board. 1 Tablespoon baking powder. 1/4 teaspoon baking soda. 1 stick (1/4 cup) butter (real butter not margarine) very cold. RULE #1 DON'T TOUCH THAT ROLLING PIN! Combine dry ingredients. Cut butter into small pieces or grate into flour mix. Cut in using pastry knife until pea sized. Make a well in the center and pour in buttermilk. Using hands, fold flour mix into the buttermilk until just combined or mostly combined. STOP! Sunday, October 6, 2013.

No bottom crust on this one. 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast halves, cubed. 1 cup sliced carrots (I used frozen). 1 cup frozen green peas. 1/2 cup sliced (small) celery. 1/3 cup chopped onion. 1/3 cup all purpose flour. 1/4 tsp celery seed (i just used a pinch). 1 and 3/4 cups chicken broth. 1 9 inch unbaked pie crust (I thawed out a frozen premade). Saturday, February 2, 2013. 5 cups whole wheat flour. 1 C evaporated milk. 1/2 cup chicken or beef broth. 10 Tablespoons (1 fluid cup) bacon grease. 1 tsp baking powder. Optional: Honey and/or Cheese. Garlic Powder (helps fight fleas). Parsley (for fresher breath). Preheat oven to 325F. Combine all ingredients and mix thoroughly. Separate into manageable sized balls and roll into logs, and cut pieces to size appropriate for your dog. Place on baking sheet lined with foil and sprayed with Pam.
