As of this past Monday (June 2nd) afternoon, Leah and I have been approved and are now certified as foster parents! I’ll be honest and say that was both extremely exciting and just a wee bit terrifying at first. This past week has been an emotional roller coaster of sorts for both of us Roderick ‘feelers’ (Myers Briggs reference). Finally we have been approved!

I had to make up for it! But I couldn’t. For the past two years it was literally like I couldn’t read His Word. It was almost painful to pray. God felt so far from me.
