After the Tuberculosis epidemic of the early 1900's came under control the cottages were torn down and replaced with a new set of building known today as The Quad. The Quad was originally built for female patients but later housed men too. Picture - Kings Park Heritage Museum. The old Tuberculosis cottages were torn down as group IV was being constructed. Looking at building 7 from the rear of the recreation center. On each floor in the front was the stairways and visitors rooms in the center followed by a small dorm,.
