My Little Sewing Blog. Saturday, August 14, 2010. I got to make this beautiful Regency. Dress for my client to wear to a Jane Austen. I know I know, the picture is awful. I forgot to bring my camera to the fitting, so I had to use my cell phone, and it's not quite finished, I still needed to do the hem at that point. You can see me in the mirror behind my client! Anyway, it turned out just lovely and even my perfectionistic friend Della thought it was beautiful work, which was a huge compliment to me!

My Little Sewing Blog. Saturday, January 28, 2012. So I found a silverware tray. It was pretty and real wood. But the bottom was all warped, probably water damage. Plus none of my kitchen drawers are wide enough for a regular sized silverware tray, but that's a rant for another day. I couldn't just let it go to waste! Now it's a little shelf.
