Last night, I brought her JarHead, a war movie (which she loves war movies) and it got to one part, where it must have triggered a bad memory, or maybe it’s her medication. As soon as I heard my dad’s voice…. He sounded distant, and exhausted. “mom has cancer” he said. My world froze… “what! 8221; This cant be true. Hasn’t she been through enough? These past two weeks of no pain, and having amazing visits, playing games and laughing…. and now… she has cancer? On top of gualstones?
