What happened here Gadgeteen? Dunno, wasn't me. Why do you always blame me for everything? Gadgetgirlie must have done it.'. You're having a larf, Gadgeteen, no way could she have done that, come on, own up, what happened? I DID NOT DO IT' (shout, shout, strop, strop, stomp, stomp). Sunday, June 24, 2007.

Life with and without the Gadget family, memories of being a cruising kid and. our recent plans for emigrating to Canada. View my complete profile. Girl with a one track mind. Wednesday, June 23, 2010. Oh dear, I'm struggling to find the motivation to write at the moment. I now know that I have contact with our case officer if I have any queries, which is useful. GG and I visited the old harbour of Charlestown and went aboard a brigantine. We rented a 14’ dinghy called a ‘Bosun’ one eve...Neither of us w...

Life with and without the Gadget family, memories of being a cruising kid and. our recent plans for emigrating to Canada. View my complete profile. Girl with a one track mind. Saturday, September 30, 2006. Orel Lake, BC. So this is where we would head for. This is where my brother lives, and the other visits for several months a year, and of course Mum, who is there now. My brothers plots/homes overlook the first two fields towards the farm on the far side of the second couple of fields. Orel lake itself...

Life with and without the Gadget family, memories of being a cruising kid and. our recent plans for emigrating to Canada. View my complete profile. Girl with a one track mind. Sunday, July 11, 2010. It's too hot at home, and too hot to spend the day on my bike behind the trike so we're out on the Trike for the day and decide to ride down to pick up Annette. A bit of Arundel castle. Schooner with a mizzen staysail up. Dodgy maniac on the dodgems. Cafe at West beach. Another boat coming in.

Wednesday, July 25, 2007. Gadgeteen, alcohol and the local A and E. Earlier on this evening I answered my mobile. Is that Gadgeteen's Mum? Heart already in mouth. Turns out that he's been home today whilst we were at work and picked up Gmans almost full bottle of Blue Label Vodka, and gone off into town again. Monday, July 23, 2007.

Notes From Hallett's Mountain: July 2010

http://meredic.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html

Notes From Hallett's Mountain. From the heart of my bottom, especially for you dear reader. Thursday, July 22, 2010. While I look forward to the wedding I have to confess that aspects of the Hallett temperament have been tested to the point where a few more days will find it wanting if I am not careful. I made a mistake you see. She Of The Townhouse asked me what I thought of the outfit she had chosen and I gave her an honest opinion modestly expressed. 8220;What do you think of it then? I have taken a s...

Notes From Hallett's Mountain: Cold Comforts

http://meredic.blogspot.com/2011/06/cold-comforts.html

Notes From Hallett's Mountain. From the heart of my bottom, especially for you dear reader. Thursday, June 23, 2011. As the buffet was presented to the assembled masses I realised that fate had indeed dealt a cruel trick. And so, as so often before, let me rewind. I am attending a celebration in my local council chamber. I represent my school as we gain a prestigious award. An award showing what a healthy workplace we are. For three years we have filled in forms showing all the healthy things we do.

http://meredic.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html

Notes From Hallett's Mountain. From the heart of my bottom, especially for you dear reader. Monday, August 02, 2010. Hallett's Mountain recently got bigger. Click on the picture. Sunday, August 01, 2010. Mountaineers, I have to confess that I have strayed. I have been tempted by smooth firm curves and I am ashamed to say that I have been found wanting. It’s the mega pixies you see. Those and the giggle bytes…. A phone that has served me well for some years was found sadly lacking. And then yesterday I wa...

Notes From Hallett's Mountain: January 2011

http://meredic.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html

Notes From Hallett's Mountain. From the heart of my bottom, especially for you dear reader. Sunday, January 23, 2011. I realise with alarm now that it was nearly 25 years ago. In a bid to make my then house more habitable, particularly in the winter, I decided that I would plumb the depths of central heating. And then I started to spend it hand over fist. My sister and I hoofed it of to Ibiza. I bought my first British Bike. Much conspicuous consumption occurred. But in the end the result was good. It ha...

Notes From Hallett's Mountain. From the heart of my bottom, especially for you dear reader. Wednesday, September 08, 2010. I am always pleased to see Orion standing on the horizon at this time of year. Often thought as a winter constellation because that is when most people see him in the evening,. If you get up at around 4 o'clock you can see him now. As I don't expect many of you will join me I offer you this mornings view rising outside my front door in the east. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

http://meredic.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html

Notes From Hallett's Mountain. From the heart of my bottom, especially for you dear reader. Sunday, November 28, 2010. Deep Within The Heart Of Darkness. The picture above shows a stepladder descending in to a deep water tank. The reason that I am so cold and wet? Well, I have spent a not insignificant part of my day bailing mud and water over my head from the bottom of my cistern. So on a bitterly cold day I have been underground and underwater. Up here we have to make our own entertainment. As I stand ...

http://meredic.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html

Notes From Hallett's Mountain. From the heart of my bottom, especially for you dear reader. Sunday, March 27, 2011. Most of it I got, but I couldn’t for the life of me figure out what the fuss was about skin care products. On Saturday I took part in a protest march. One that I had been anticipating for some time. I was there. And of course I was nobly representing the interests of my younger colleagues. 8220;Maggie Maggie Maggie Out Out Out! It was in fact a privilege to be there as a participant and I s...

Notes From Hallett's Mountain. From the heart of my bottom, especially for you dear reader. Sunday, April 24, 2011. First of course a very happy Easter to you all. In between the cut and thrust of political debate there has been the odd hour to explore. Imagine my delight at the city I have found. Full of iconic buildings and great charm. Justifiably proud of its wide open spaces. Choc a bloc with museums and galleries full of stuff that you wouldn’t want to miss. Here now, have a look. When I went away ...

My Trials in the Kitchen

My Trials in the Kitchen. Friday, 31 July 2015. Steamed Ginger Milk Custard (served with Osmanthus Syrup). Steamed Ginger Milk Custard was listed in my trial list for so long.  I have fallen in love with this dessert when I first tried a few years ago during my first visit to Macau.  This dessert is well known among the Chinese community inclusive me! 160;I just love the smoothness of this dessert when it melts in my mouth with little of spiciness taste from the ginger, heavenly.
