We loved all of the plants when we toured the house and property, except for the raised-bed garden in the driveway. Yes, in the driveway! This picture is before the plants grew like crazy. Rehabbing a Victorian that's been left for dead. It's really been warming up quickly and we've spent the last two weekends working in the yard. We're really trying to stay ahead of the game this year. The front yard is mulched so we hopefully won't have to weed the beds for a while. Up next was the koi pond that sprung a leak last Fall. First we drained the remaining water/muck and removed the last of the koi and frogs to another pond in the yard. We worked from the bottom up and didn't cut any of the ex...

Rehabbing a Victorian that's been left for dead. So less than 6 months after swapping in some new fixtures in the kitchen and baths one of them is already leaking! We're eventually going to remodel the kitchen and baths so we bought some lower end faucets as a stop-gap until the remodel actually happens. Guess you really only get what you pay for. here's a picture of it with the knobs in the off position. That's great quality right? Unscrewed the knob pulled straight up and off.
