Grace Mayer: February 2011
http://grmayergraphicdesign.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, 23 February 2011. I was looking through some photos from my visit to North Queensland earlier this year, and found the photos I took of some Australian plants and flowers. I know that the first one is a Hibiscus flower but I can't seem to find the names of the others, sadly. Since my final design is producing a floral effect, I thought these might give some inspiration. Thursday, 17 February 2011. This is what the form looked like when folded together and attached at the base:. During the past...

Paper Paper Paper: So not as easy as it sounds!
http://bpgraphicdesign.blogspot.com/2011/03/so-not-as-easy-as-it-sounds.html
Wednesday, 9 March 2011. So not as easy as it sounds! So i tried out the wet folding technique and found it is A LOT harder than i thought. I think the main problem was that i had my heart set on being able to produce something as amazing as Richard Sweeney. This didn't really go as hoped! 65279;Even after experimenting with several models i couldn't create the shapes i was hoping for. Richard Sweeney obviously has a secret ingredient he's just not letting out! Here are a couple of my best attempts.

LauraO Graphic Design: Progressing with the final structure
http://lauraographics.blogspot.com/2011/03/progressing-with-final-structure.html
Saturday, 12 March 2011. Progressing with the final structure. My flatmate took an interest in what I had been making the past few days, and took this photo of me working. I had been getting annoyed with the paper and forming it into the shape that I wanted which means that I'm not quite sure how big the final piece will turn out. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). http://rebeccamorgan-graphicdesign.blogspot.com/2011/03/paper-poster-sculpture.html
Friday, 11 March 2011. Visually I thought the design that looked best were of an envelope, paper crane, postcard, greetings card, paper plane and book. Below you can see the 6 different designs. I have no idea why blogger hates me an has turned most of them the wrong way! There are also a million pictures it refused to upload, so the ones below are the only ones that worked. DONT UNDERSTAND). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Http:/ skillsworkshopsession.blogspot.com/. Final 3 poster designs.

Sarah Oram/Graphic design: Final Animation.
http://sarahoramgraphicdesigner.blogspot.com/2011/05/final-animation_04.html
Wednesday, 4 May 2011. There are two versions of my final animation, they are the same but the music is different I have not yet decided which music to use. The first option is the first 24 seconds of the music. The second option is 2 minutes into the music where there is a change ing the music at the end to co-inside with the kite falling. RebeccaMorgan-GraphicDesign: Initial Poster Experimentation
http://rebeccamorgan-graphicdesign.blogspot.com/2011/03/initial-poster-experimentation.html
Friday, 11 March 2011. After looking at Jen Stork's work I was inspired to experiment with coloured paper and simple shapes. I decided I wanted to keep the poster quite simple so as you can see, that's the vibe I was going for. I wanted the design to very obviously just look like cut out paper. Paper Paper Paper: Shaped Structures
http://bpgraphicdesign.blogspot.com/2011/03/shaped-structures.html
Wednesday, 2 March 2011. I found a few structures and buildings that have all been formed around or resemble the shape of moving water such as waves. I really like the bench above as it takes a really similar form to some of the paper models i have made with its pleats creating curves. I also found the work below that has been produced using paper to create a waved appearence. I havent tried out this technique yet so i will have a go and see what shapes can be produced. RebeccaMorgan-GraphicDesign: spitting feathers
http://rebeccamorgan-graphicdesign.blogspot.com/2011/03/more-bird-shit-just-in-case.html
Friday, 11 March 2011. After looking at birds and deciding it would be nice to include them in my designs somehow I started experimenting with how this could be done. After looking at the photographs from The Natural History display but also at the feather pens inside the shop I decided to focus on the idea of using the feathers, so I started trying to figure out how I could create them out of paper. I also attempted to take a few photos demonstrating movement, the feathers falling in the wind. I do ...
