Creating Madness: "Dragon Time"
http://nancytuttle.blogspot.com/2011/05/dragon-time.html
Art by N. Tuttle. Thursday, May 5, 2011. This was a nice solid piece of wood that allowed me to easily create the details of this Dragon's face. His teeth were modeled after an alligator, his eyes from a snake and his skin from a lizard. The rest is pure imagination. Everything has been carved into a single piece of Oregon driftwood. I used oil paints to add color to his face and his eye. Your work is amazing! I have just received the new Carving Magazine in which you were featured. December 9, 2011 at 6...

Art by N. Tuttle. Thursday, March 17, 2011. This was one of the most fun carvings I've created recently. I enjoy creating art from the dark side as the depths of darkness seem to be unlimited! Creating Madness: "Winter Beachcombing"
http://nancytuttle.blogspot.com/2013/11/winter-beachcombing.html
Art by N. Tuttle. Thursday, November 7, 2013. The long hikes across the beaches, climbing over the massive piles of driftwood and often through the wind and rain, brings rewards that make it all worthwhile. When I find that perfect piece of driftwood my passion for carving becomes renewed every time! The previous winter I picked up around two dozen pieces of driftwood altogether! Never knowing when the ocean will cough up its bounty can make life challenging when your livelihood depends on it.

Wednesday, June 24, 2009. Posted by Kevin at 6:58 AM. Sorry, folks. The power went out last night. Our friend with the large (and now somewhat flat) head is doing well. He's in some sort of body armor ('canned tuna,' Will said), and is scheduled to go for a walk this morning. He's doing a thick liquid diet, and figuring out how to eat without moving his neck. It sounds like everybody is already chomping at the bit to get out of the hospital. Love to you all,. Monday, June 22, 2009. Sam is FINALLY heading...
