Anna's Blogged Life. Inside Jen's Head. The WordPress.com Blog. My few moments alone to write about nothing…or everything! I have been waiting so long for you to arrive. Pease don’t make me wait so long next year. Or ever again for that matter. I really don’t think I can stand it. I have SO been looking forward to Huddy being able to play outside. I mean. Play He has been too, he just doesn’t know it. There is nothing like a little boy in a T-shirt and TOMS. I can hardly stand the cuteness! Not only is h...

Anna's Blogged Life. Inside Jen's Head. The WordPress.com Blog. My few moments alone to write about nothing…or everything! Another year is over. How does that happen so fast? I remember when Summer break used to feel like it was just as long as the whole school year and now a whole year of my life feels like the blink of an eye! 2013 was a great year with lots going on. We started leading worship at our Lifegate Papillion campus. We welcomed. We started Lifegroups at Lifegate(see what we did there? I sti...

Anna's Blogged Life. Inside Jen's Head. The WordPress.com Blog. My few moments alone to write about nothing…or everything! Oh October, where did you go? Somewhere about the middle of the month I was supposed to start referring to my baby(ok, toddler, whatevs) as a 13 month old but could never bring myself to do it. Me, have a toddler? It just seems wrong. He started this new thing. I think it’s called snuggling? Back to Halloween…. In my family, we did not celebrate Halloween growing up. We were able...

Anna's Blogged Life. Inside Jen's Head. The WordPress.com Blog. My few moments alone to write about nothing…or everything! Goodbye Summer, Hello 2 year old. Man, it has been awhile! This has definitely been one of the craziest seasons of life thus far, but it has also been one of the best. Summer was an absolute blur, and as much as I love Fall I’m already a little sad because I know Winter is just around the corner and will last almost a whole year. Or at least it will feel like a whole year. He prays f...

Wifemother.sister.daughter.disciple. January 7, 2013. My days are full to the brim with caring for our one-month old little wonder, Anorah, but this post-holiday quiet is giving me time to reflect a bit on what has passed and what’s to come. But I digress…. I posted on my Facebook wall that I was so grateful for the year of blessing and reprieve that we experienced in 2012. Looking at the definition of “reprieve”, I’m not sure that’s the exact word I meant to use. So many steps…. Five Dollars →. Address ...

Wifemother.sister.daughter.disciple. January 5, 2014. Obviously New Years Resolutions don’t always work. I’ve consistently resolved to be more consistent about writing, and that hasn’t always panned out. Admittedly, I’m a bit ADD when it comes to ideas and execution – I typically get really excited about an idea for a few weeks and then run out of steam unless it is somehow externally driven. That’s why I am intrigued by Storyline. 8216;s offer of a free week of life coaching. A week of real food. Since ...

About | looking.for.logos
https://lookingforlogos.wordpress.com/welcome-2
Wifemother.sister.daughter.disciple. Is a developing idea. Logos is the “logic of God” spoken into the Word Himself. This blog is my journey – how I started looking for God’s logic in everything, and how I found Christ in the center of it all. Only the Word is the answer to rightly reading the world, because The Word has nail-scarred hands that cup our face close, wipe away the tears running down, has eyes to look deep into our brimming ache, and whisper, “I know. I know. And Looking for Logos. Donald Mi...

Wifemother.sister.daughter.disciple. August 19, 2011. In Uncategorized. ·. Our first week of school is over, and we have all learned a lot! One challenge that we faced this week was teaching the kids to see me as mom. Teacher. I understand the difficulty. I’m having a hard time seeing myself as mom and teacher! I challenged him today, and he just whined at me. I tried to explain that just because he is going to school at home. I wrote on the board, Colossians. Master, for God… (The Message). And God̵...

Wifemother.sister.daughter.disciple. Another mom’s day. May 13, 2013. Since writing this in May 2010, I’ve gotten to be a mother to one more waiting for me in heaven and one more precious life I get to share here. I was thinking about this post and wanted to re-share it. It’s just as true now as it was when I wrote it. Mother’s Day is a very big day. I know how women are. This is one particular day out of the year that we have purpose to become hyper-introspective. Trial and Error →. You are commenting u...

Wifemother.sister.daughter.disciple. So many steps…. July 27, 2012. Well, I had a goal back in January. To get back into blogging, and obviously I have not been meeting that goal. Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it. Thanks, Ferris.) And I have to say, this year has been a biggie so far. Where to even start? 2010 was a rebuilding year for our family. I graduated from Mercy Ministries. In August 2010, I got accepted to Regent University. Over the su...

Wifemother.sister.daughter.disciple. September 19, 2011. Occasionally I stumble upon these moments of clarity. I find myself in an atmosphere of grace, and I’m startled by how filling and calming it is to me. Words well up inside, but the voice of condemnation calls me a hypocrite for daring to share them. Who am I to speak anything of relevance to anyone? Jesus quickens my spirit. When did I drop my guard? From the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven has been forcefully advancing, ...

Follow Naptime Diaries by Email. Saturday, January 7, 2012. Lucy's Christmas Eve Puppies! After an exhausting day of preparations for the next couple of days to come which were Christmas Eve and Christmas day I went into the laundry room, looked at Lucy and said, "Lucy, please don't go into labor tonight, I am exhausted." I turned off the light and went to bed. Christmas Eve morning I got up and went to let Lucy outside and to my surprise she was laying in her bed with two puppies and one on the way!

The Lord is so good and has been speaking to my heart more clearly than ever. I would highly recommend the book Jesus Calling by Sarah Young. Basement: Framing the Walls. About a year ago we began with our basement project. Our goal was to split our basement in half. One side would be a useable family space (Dylan calls it the man-cave, but it’s family friendly! The staircase was serviceable, but ugly. We knew we’d be replacing the treads and risers, but first we had to put in walls. From the view below, it’s easy to see where the future walls would go. See where the floor had been painted red?
