Natasha's Food for Thought. Thursday, May 10, 2012. Blackfin Pub, Comox, BC. Cozy, welcoming and home style meals. Nice place to come when you want a night off from cooking, which even Chefs need once in a while:). So while living in Comox for a month, this became our regular spot. Yummy french onion soup made with caramelized onions, roasted garlic, Guiness, Parmesan, Swiss and garlic Focaccia. We unforgivably did not order any desserts, but they looked wonderful. Honestly we went to get biscuits after the Texas bbq, one because we were in Portland and were on a Guy Fieri Culinary adventure and two to help absorb some of our bbq stomach regrets. So anyways on a brighter note, great biscuits! They use local fresh products which help in creating such a successful business. Interesting experience, i would go back. Recommended by Guy Fieri.
