Food for families is a non profit organization that helps feed students in Union County. We give food bags to students weekly. Help us feed kids today! We are currently helping over 300 families in Union County a week with food for the weekend! The following list are samples of the items we can use. NC Food for Thought. Is a not-for-profit event that will place consumers in the shoes of those who form the foundation of the food pyramid: farmworkers. Those who attend the event will not only leave with a full stomach, but with a better understanding of the injustices to migrant farmworkers that happen in Raleigh’s own backyard.
