August 27, 2012. While baking the kids some homemade muffins the other morning, a quiet feeling of autumn came over me. i love the changes during this time of year. There is such calm and quiet at the beach in winter. the perfect place to clear ones head. August 21, 2012. After a peaceful and invigorating week spent at the beach, i feel like i’m ready for the next chapter of this year. Waking up to a clear sky after a week of non-stop rain is a great feeling, it was the perfect way to start the day.

Monday, August 27, 2012. BWCA um, and Lutsen. Here is the long version of how our trip to the Boundary Waters went. We were super excited to have our monstrous canoe on the car! Monday, May 14, 2012. 2012 First Weekend At The Cabin! We got to spend a few days at the cabin last week. This was our list of priorities:. Spend lots of time outside. Spend some time in the water. Eat lots of smores. Here is how we did:. We all had smores! We spent lots of time outside. Even when we were cranky about it. We had some more smores. Jer got to use his new toy! What one can achieve after a cup of coffee. Wednesday, February 18, 2009. What does he know anyways? Don't get me wrong, I love the groundhog! Todd and I celebrated (me sick from the couch) our seven year dating anniversary on Groundhog's Day this year! But what does that little vermin know about spring? First off, he's on the east coast. We play the seasons a little differently here. Secondly, I highly doubt he's a team player in the little charade! I say, spring has sprung! And not a moment too soon!
