http://friendsknittogether.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
Saturday, August 30, 2008. A Little Something Green (Adriana). With so many great patterns out there I rarely feel the urge to knit something twice. I think it takes a special pattern to make me need to do it again. So far I've only made Odessa. Rav link) and the Fake Isle Hat. Twice However, I have now made three Baby Surprise Jackets. And turn it into this:. I think it needs little froggy buttons to finish it off. In other news, things continue to come together for our big move. Now that we've got ...

Friends Knit Together: Moving Part 1 (Adriana)
http://friendsknittogether.blogspot.com/2008/10/moving-part-1-adriana.html
Wednesday, October 8, 2008. Moving Part 1 (Adriana). Is just a short subway ride away. It's so terrific to move into a new city and already have a close circle of friends. I had forgotten how much of a pain it is to move. The last two weeks before we left the apartment was a mess of boxes. This is our dining room before the hardcore packing began. Please note Cleo sleeping on something on the floor. Here is some of our stuff for the depot. Sadly, there ended up being even more. I love those little frogs.

Friends Knit Together: July 2008
http://friendsknittogether.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
Wednesday, July 23, 2008. If I do that every month from now until the wedding, I bet that the number 23 won't seem that bad at all to me. Not only do we have a date for the wedding, we have a venue as well: the Galt Country Club. So, to honour the mini-anniversary of my wedding date, here are some views of downtown Galt where we will be taking pictures. Ferguson Cottage where I want to go with my girls before the ceremony. A view down the river to the lovely churches. The faux Greek ruins. Interestingly,...

Creative and Crafty Steenta. The many facets of a crafter, artist, artisan and mother. Sunday, July 11, 2010. I haven't been keeping up with my art lately. So. I figured my first piece to attempt since my hiatus, should be of Dadoo. Or should I say my husband's father who passed away about a month ago, my children lovingly referred to him as Dadoo. He is still on our minds and in our hearts. Friday, July 9, 2010. Wednesday, July 7, 2010. I do more than just jewelry, don't forget about my adorable baby bo...

Three Kids, Two Sticks: November 2009
http://threekidstwosticks.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 29, 2009. I don't even know what to call this. Over the summer, I checked out a library book called Confessions of an Organized Homemaker. In October, I finally admitted the damn thing was lost. Irony. I ended up paying for it, and the librarian told me that if I keep the receipt and find the book within a year, I could bring it back and they'd refund my money. Tuesday, November 17, 2009. Today we went out to the Norman Bird Sanctuary. For a homeschool raptor class. The past few weeks.

Wednesday, April 21, 2010. We're closing on our new house (! In less than a week. I had intended to spend this month moving and sorting, but 3 inches of water in the basement, strep throat x3, a birthday party, and a few days of beautiful weather derailed those plans. Pictures to come. gulp. Beth told me your exciting news :) Nice to have some time to pack and move slowly (especially with 3 kids! See you on saturday :). April 21, 2010 at 3:16 PM. With DG Confetti and much smaller needles. Thank goodness I tried Monkey with Sweetgeorgia. Yarn, because her patterns are so lovely, it would have been a shame. Seriously though, I frogged the cuff and first few repeats of Pomatomus a total of 6. This i...

December 31, 2007 at 12:20 pm. Little did I know, I was self-sabotaging. Somewhere in my subconscious I thought “If I have these other toys to give them, then it’ll be okay if I don’t finish the kniting.”. Oh well. The kids will never know and the parents will be thrilled to get a little surprise in the mail in early January, amongst all the credit card bills and belated Christmas cards. Entry filed under: daily. 5 Comments Add your own. January 3, 2008 at 1:57 pm. Crafting on a deadline sucks. I have th...

Well, that was a crazy month. I'm still tired, but I figure since I try to tell my kids to get up and get back to it, to push themselves a little further than they think they can go, and to stay on task until said task is completed (notice I did say. To tell me kids these things,) well, I guess I better lead by example. Skeins Her...

FYI, Ive Moved. Good Time for a Break. Does She Still Knit? A Year in Yarn, 2010 - Day 1. Another Day, Another Year, Another Sock. Friday, January 19, 2007. Join" In the Fun. I received this question a little while back-. Ali, Can I ask you a knitting question? This is a common question, one I've had to answer for more than one newbie knitting friend already. It begs an explanation. It isn't in there. Well, maybe because the Brittish don't need to make a relatively simple task seem daunting. Joining ...
