Great roads and items of interest for motorcycle riders. Sunday, June 16, 2013. Stopped by for breakfast at Tom's Kitchen on PA Route 93 in Conyngham (near Hazleton). Been there on several occasions for breakfast or lunch. Food is always good and the staff is very friendly. Tom's usually has about 5-6 specials. One of the specials, which I tried, was a cheese and pepperoni omelet. Never saw this combination in an omelet before, but it turned out to be very tasty and an excellent choice.

Great roads and items of interest for motorcycle riders. Wednesday, September 11, 2013. This past weekend, I attended the Palmerton Community Festival. It is a 3-day event which includes local foods, continuous entertainment, rides, games of chance, and more. This year the weather was perfect which was a factor in the record attendance. Most of the food is offered by local churches and organizations. It is varied and always tasty. The entertainment is some of the best from the region.
