Sunday, March 1, 2009. It is March, right? I didn't believe the weather man when he said we might get 1-2" of snow (I've heard that one before). But, I definitely didn't expect 7"! Friday, March 26, 2010. We're so glad that spring has finally arrived! It feels so good to escape the winter blues and head outside. One of our favorite things to do is go to the Wilderness Trail at Barfield Park. It's a short hike through the woods, ending at the Stones River, where the kids love to play in the water. Sunday, May 30, 2010. Back from our 5th trip to DisneyWorld! After not being able to go last year, we were so excited to be able to go back again. Maybe we were being a. Bit too nostalgic though about the reality of such an endeavor. because boy is it EXHAUSTING! A trip to Disney with 3, well let's just say "spirited" kids, is not exactly relaxing (ha! Tuesday, November 17, 2009. A few weeks ago, we were tailgating at the MTSU game, it was a gorgeous day, and there was this perfect tree right next to us. Wednesday, April 22, 2009. A few days ago, I told Braden that it was time to clean up. He said he wanted to clean too and asked if he could vacuum. So, I pulled out the stick vac and he went to work. He vacuumed the kitchen for about 30 minutes! Everytime he sucked something up he shouted "I got a cheerio mommy! I got a french fry mommy! Monday, January 26, 2009. Braden had his 3rd birthday on Friday, January 23. He is growing into a very smart, loving, handsome young man right before our very eyes. Words cannot express how much joy he brings into our lives. We love that little guy! To top it off, we went to dinner at Cracker Barrel with Leslie, Denny, Danyon, and Dustin where Uncle Denny taught Braden how to flip his cars in the air using a spoon (thanks for that).
