Adventures of Ava (and Mommy and Daddy). Thursday, October 16, 2008. Dori (the daycare lady) just text messaged me this morning to tell me that Ava took 3 steps in a row! She was sitting on the living room rug and Dori was sitting on the couch with another child. Ava stood up and took 3 steps towards Dori and reached out to grab Dori's legs but she did 3 steps all by herself! Of course, Mommy is very excited! I think those were her first "official" real steps! October 17, 2008 at 2:37 PM. Yep we sure did!

Adventures of Ava (and Mommy and Daddy). Sunday, October 19, 2008. Yesterday we went to Ava's 1st Halloween costume party! Our friends Dean and Jamie have 2 kids- Raegan turned 4 a couple weeks ago and Logan just turned 1 (he and Ava are exactly a month apart! Yesterday was their birthday party. Ava had a great time and was exhausted by the time we got home. Here are some pictures of Ava in her costume:. Ava and Logan (the birthday boy). Trying to get the leaves that were falling. Just been really busy lately and haven't really had the motivation to blog. I think that is the key to blogging.MOTIVATION! Well we have been busy and dealing with a lot recently. Thursday, July 30, 2009. Alan decided on Sunday that he wanted to finally walk. All by himself with a toy in his hand, he took 4 steps and it hasn't stopped since! We are just so proud of him! Wednesday, July 15, 2009. How many did you say? 4 I tell you! My son now has 4 teeth! Took him forever to get those last 2 in, but now he has 2 on top and 2 on the bottom! The top 2 just cut through today! I am so excited about his new teeth! Tuesday, July 7, 2009. That is all I have to say. My son LOVES bread!
