Take It and Run. A collaborative creative project from Richard Watkins using the Pen Paper Pause sketches. June 4, 2010. 8220;I would not term myself an. 8220;, my friend Ann. Said, “but I’d like to take one of your pieces and do my interpretation of it”. I’ve long had an uneasy relationship with the word. Anyway – in my experience it’s a term that is more problematic than useful – so i’m very glad she didn’t let it stop her getting involved. Click to email (Opens in new window). Life is worth it. Saturday, November 24, 2012. Dedication to my Belle. I remember one incident where I had her in a box in the car and was driving somewhere, when i stepped on the brakes too hard and the box and Belle tipped over and fell. I was mortified. How could I let my baby fall like that? On November 23, 2012, we said our good byes to our dear Belle. She was 15 years old which in dog years is over hundred! Links to this post. Life is worth it. Tuesday, September 13, 2011. Let me savor it while it lasts, it's been a long time:). It's day 3 with the kids rooming together and I wonder why we didn't do it sooner. Bedtime routine isn't completely seamless as I'm still BFing. Sofia still comes out a few times and wants us to sleep with her and Nolan just cries a bit. By 9ish, both are fast asleep. Yesterday morning, I heard Nolan at 6ish but he went back to sleep till past 7am! Links to this post. Friday, September 09, 2011. All I ...

rae onlife: I love my new career...
http://robnraechin.blogspot.com/2012/02/i-love-my-new-career.html
Life is worth it. Wednesday, February 29, 2012. I love my new career. I am just recovering from a weekend frenzy of meeting clients and writing offers on homes. It is a unspeakable, frantic detached market out in East Van and New West. Along with my partner, we wrote and presented 4 offers all in competition and lost on all. Buyers never win in a multiple offer situation so why is everyone vying for the same properties? I am loving my new career! I received a very nice email this morning from a client wh...

Life is worth it. Sunday, November 13, 2011. 3 years and 14 months. Sofia finally made it to 3! We celebrated her birthday with a small party at 4Cats Art Studio and she got a special treat to have mommy join her at preschool on her birthday. At this age, she:. And is very good at catching. Is still shy, reserved and quiet around strangers but give her some time and she will be her crazy, playful self. It is kind of nice now that she is comfortable to play on her own and with other uncles/aunties so ...

Life is worth it. Sunday, July 24, 2011. Sofia has been mentioning dolphins these past weeks and I guess she was referring to the dolphins we saw at the aquarium. Although her random dolphin phrases popped up here and there with no reasoning (we haven't been to the aquarium in ages), I couldn't figure out what else she was referring to.until I realized she was trying to say 'something'.ahhhh. I want to do dolphins" made more sense now so I would say, "You want to do something? And she would agree! To do:...

Life is worth it. Tuesday, December 24, 2013. Merry Christmas and Happy 2014! I can't believe I went the whole 2013 without a single blog post! It was just that kind of crazy year=P And to think my last post was when our Belle left us and a year has passed like that! And perhaps before winter is over, we may see some more! By April, we obtained our final occupancy permit and moved in! Nolan started preschool at Brentwood Nursery School twice a week in the mornings and has connected with many friends....

Tiny slices of time – Take It & Run
https://takeitandrun.wordpress.com/2011/02/06/tiny-slices-of-time
Take It and Run. A collaborative creative project from Richard Watkins using the Pen Paper Pause sketches. February 6, 2011. Tiny slices of time. Becky Claydon knows her way around the world of craft very competently indeed – so there was never any fear when she decided to take one of my absolute favourites to run with. A pure haiku, a visual style I haven’t been able to replicate as pleasingly and an idea that still strikes me with force three years on. Click to email (Opens in new window). Fransisca Re...

rae onlife: October 2011
http://robnraechin.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Life is worth it. Saturday, October 01, 2011. Life took a dive in the toilet. Just reread my previous post and shook my head. I had no idea what was to come. My health was going to take a trip to hell. It started with a quick painful growth of hemaerroids which reminded me of the post-partum times of discomfort sitting and lying down. There were a few sleepless night filled with pain and anxiety. I was referred to the only specialist in Vancouver and was told my appt was in 3 weeks! Are you kidding me?
