When I found out that I had won a lottery spot to the 25th anniversarry of the Ironman World Championship. In Hawaii, I was 40lbs over weight, never run more than 3km at a time, never been on a road bike and had never swam a structured swim workout in my life… and I had 6 months to train for the hardest 1-day endurance event in the world. This is what happend. 6 Years later…. Maried to my high school sweetheart. 2 amazing Kids (Jake and Emma). House on the golf course. Etc etc. etc. I want to be free!
