Make double or treble for larger cakes but remember to allow for longer cooking). 25 oz/ 70 gms. 1/3 cup caster sugar. 5 oz/ 145 gms. 2/3 cup self-raising flour. 25 oz/ 70 gms. 1/3 cup chopped pecan nuts. 1 teaspoon vanilla essence (I use real vanilla essence it really does taste different). Add the egg and beat mixture. 2 oz / 50 gms. 4 oz/ 100 gms.

Tuesday, 15 December 2015. I was in a discount shop (as usual) and saw The Joie Healthy Potato Chip Maker for £5.99. It is small and neat, all the parts fit together for storage( although I needed a little masking tape to keep them other). It has 4. Pieces, a bowl, a mandolin lid, a hand protector (so you don't slice your fingers on the mandolin lid) and a cooking rack for the microwave.
