December 28, 2014. Out and about with the boys. We had a fun long weekend. The sun is going down early, around 5pm, so we have been doing a bit of night walking and playing. This weekend we walked to a different park that is close to our house, that has lots of great play equipment. Ben is becoming a great climber like his big brother. March 28, 2015. Today there was an Easter Party at the Embassy. The boys have been excited all week to go on an egg hunt and see the Easter bunny. The party was at the Ambassador's house. They had a bouncy castle, face painting, an egg hunt, magic show, and game show. It was a full day and lots of fun. Lots of our friends were there, these girls are some of our favorites. April 27, 2014. Yesterday I turned 35 years old, and collectively my mom and I turned 102. For those of you that don't know, my mom and I share a birthday, which is a very special thing. When I was a little girl, I remember thinking 18 was old, then 21, 25, and 30! Well, I am now 35 and to be honest most days I think I act like I am 20. My conclusion…age is just a number! August 11, 2015. We are grateful that my mom will be joining us for a few weeks to help us get settled. So here we go. Please pray for safe travels today and tomorrow and for a smooth transition for our family. We will be excited to share updates about our new home when we can. May 22, 2015. Friends and Gulf x 2. It's been a busy week, so I am posting these pictures about a week late. We are down to our last 2 weeks, and there is lots to be done at home and work, though we are in good shape overall. Last Friday morning, our friend Abeer came by with her boys for a visit. Faris and Benjamin are only a couple of months apart. All the kiddos play so nicely together. We are going to miss them when we leave. Later that day, we went to the gulf to walk around and play in the park.
