1200 ends is a lot of ends to thread | Centerweave
https://centerweave.wordpress.com/2015/04/20/1200-ends-is-a-lot-of-ends-to-thread
My journey into the world of weaving. 1200 ends is a lot of ends to thread. April 20, 2015. I took advantage of having a day off and thought I could complete the threading. As I neared the last bunch of ends, I realized it was two off. Sigh. So I began to check, from the beginning. The error was, of course, about half way through. An unfortunate repeat. So I added two heddles and have been unthreading in order to rethread. I’m about where I was when I started this morning! April 23, 2015 at 9:50 am.

Spinning in the raw – still but | Centerweave
https://centerweave.wordpress.com/2014/10/13/spinning-in-the-raw-still-but
My journey into the world of weaving. Spinning in the raw – still but. October 13, 2014. Figuring out how to do it smoothly without too much prep work. Here is the Romney fleece in the bag:. And here it is slightly combed, combed at least enough to get the worst tangles and clumps out:. And here it is on the bobbin! Hard to see what it looks like but I do see the “lavender tint” that was the selling point for me! Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Address never made public). Twills R...

My journey into the world of weaving. Beginning 2015 with lots of projects in mind. January 18, 2015. I have to finish a couple: the dish towels on the small loom and spinning the rest of the raw fiber. Then I am beginning a big project on the Norwood: a baby blanket! It’s a kit I got at Cotton Clouds. Once the dish towels are off the loom, I am going to weave a plain weave scarf. So lots to do! Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. I’m here! working on the blanket | Centerweave

My journey into the world of weaving. Working on the blanket. March 24, 2015. What a winter – so much snow. And here it is, almost the end of March with still a couple of feet on the ground. Dishtowels: they did make it off the loom but have yet to be finished. I moved my sewing machine downstairs so I am hoping that will be more conducive to finishing them in the near future. I need to baste the edges, wash, cut them apart, and hem them. Baby blanket: all 1200 ends! But so far so good. You are commentin...
