When in Rome…. Laquo; These girls fall like dominoes! 2010 – and no bugs in sight. Is it me or does Christmas gain roller skates as you get older? You’ve only just packed away your summer flip flops when the dreaded Morrison’s advert appears on television. Now I love Top Gear, but I confess I find the grinning image of Richard Hammond slavering over the thought of turkey and fresh Scottish salmon puts me off my tree chocolates. When in Rome…. Archive for September, 2013. What’s going on? September 5, 2013. Fast-forward three years. I’m in Sussex. What a random place to end up. There are a number of things that are slightly odd about Sussex. Firstly – there’s no music. None. The odd pubs with men with guitars, the odd Irish band. But a proper gig? We’re not in Stornoway Anymore. Laquo; Just so you know…. Last week I was in Belgium for the Rock Werchter. Music festival. Here is a summary of what I found. Best Band – The National. Great set from a band I knew virtually nothing about, even though they’ve apparently been going for a few years now. Just another WordPress.com weblog. August 6, 2009. Today we arrived in Washington DC. After walking in Memphis we headed up to Nashville where we learned how to line dance with some local cowboys and gals. Next we stayed at Claytor Lake in Dublin Virginia, although I didn’t see the lake😀. Today we drove the scenic route to the capital. I spent the evening wandering the monuments and seeing the sights. Tomorrow we have a full day to enjoy the city, woo hoo! It’s been soooo much fun! Laquo; American Dream.
