Sunday, 31 May 2015. The Tavistock Garden Festival.and that seat! An old mossy, lichened, garden seat, a cuppa, a good book. And the sunshine; what more could one want? This lovely scene caught my eye at the Tavistock garden festival, last Sunday! Mind you, this wasn't all that caught my eye! I suppose you could say that 'Chelsea-itis' was on the menu in and around the market hall! All of those who love gardening, were there; probably they were just like me -. It really does whet the gardening appetite!

Saturday, 11 July 2015. Winchester.dustbin lids.speeches. and heaven! I hereby declare.with this sword. and dustbin lid! This is a bit of a standing joke with me and my other half! Good old King Alfred! You can't miss him when you visit Winchester ;-). Winchester holds a very special place in my heart, for various reasons. Firstly, I once lived near this lovely city and spent many happy hours. Here, mostly during my student vacations. Tut tut, how disloyal! Oh well, tough.they are! That was in 2003!

Sunday, 14 June 2015. I now have grass.and what's more, it's been to the barbers and had its first cut! It's amazing how things in a garden can change so very quickly! This is rapidly becoming one of my favourite spots in the garden! The Sweet Peas are coming on nicely, climbing up their appropriate. Twiggy pea sticks; hopefully they will soon reach the trellis. Even though they've taken their time, I'm pretty confident that. There will be quite a show this summer! What a gorgeous scene now meets the eye!

Saturday, 14 March 2015. Happy Birthday to my other half.make mine shaken, not stirred.and with a twist, please! It all began, back in early February, when I woke up early; I set about. Trying to win an auction, on eBay. As the seconds counted down to zero, I knew that. I had to beat off some stiff competition! There's nothing worse than those last few seconds as your heart pounds. And you hope that you've done enough to win! Of course, this wonderful win isn't the 'real thing' ; it's not the original.

Saturday, 28 February 2015. I made the mistake of going to football, today! When Nich asked me if I'd like to go with him, I jumped at the chance as I haven't. Been for quite some time. It gave me a chance to catch up with Nich and enjoy a few laughs. The football was dire; I don't think I've ever had to sit through. Such an abysmal performance! So enough said about that! Apart from the fact that had we won, we would've gone to Wembley. And taken part in the final of the F.A. Trophy. Links to this post.

Monday, 10 August 2015. Tessier Gardens in August! There's a little, hidden gem at St Marychurch, Torquay and that's where. We spent half an hour, on Saturday, having time to kill before making our. Way to watch Torquay United. This is Tessier Gardens, which we first discovered back in February,. When the garden had its winter coat wrapped around it and there was little sign. Of life.which you can see here. But now, Tessier Gardens has come alive and what was in store was a real treat! It's well worth it!
