More 3D stuff and playtesting! May 2, 2014. The 3D build is looking fantastic, they have me testing some stuff on it to make sure it all works. Right now they have camera movement, player selection (and an indicator for where to move, they can’t move yet though), and the map laid out. Unfortunately I was in an interview during the time, but the design team had a playtest session with two random people, and here’s what we gathered:. While we have grid-based gameplay, one of the participants was interesting in how the game would work in a hex-grid instead of a square-grid. Getting ready for Imagine. May 2, 2014. A few things that I want the team to do:. Enable mouse scrolling for zooming in and out. Make clicking a bit more responsive, sometimes when you click on a character model it doesn’t select them. Probably have to update the bounding boxes for that. Actually get turns to work, I’m not sure if it’s just me but the turn doesn’t always advance when everyone finishes their turn. Once again, looks great and I’m excited for tomorrow.
