My eMi Story: Pictures are up

http://www.nick-copeland.blogspot.com/2011/06/pictures-are-up.html

Saturday, June 18, 2011. I just posted my pictures from the trip. Here's links to my albums on Facebook. They are Ghana - Part 1. And Ghana - Part 2. Still not feeling the best and trying to recover physically from the trip. It's been super encouraging though since I've been back to talk with people back home. Thanks to Scot Irwin for calling me today. Cool to hear about what's going on in my friends' and mentors' lives. Just another reminder of how big God is. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

http://www.nick-copeland.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html

Friday, February 25, 2011. So, this is my blog. I'm starting it so that all of you can see what I'm doing this summer and how God is working in my life. The reason I'm doing this is because I found out this week that I will be interning at Engineering Ministries International. In Colorado Springs all summer! Here it is. This is the start. Let's see where this adventure. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Watermark template. Powered by Blogger.

My eMi Story: March 2011

http://www.nick-copeland.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html

Monday, March 14, 2011. Over the past couple of weeks I've been able to spend a lot of time talking with friends and mentors about my summer and I am getting more and more excited everyday. It's been exciting to think about just how much the Lord wants to do in my life this summer. He's going to do some huge things! I've been able to spend a lot of time outside lately and just take in the beauty of creation, which is one of the things I'm looking forward to most this summer in Colorado Springs.

Monday, July 25, 2011. Praying Expectantly, Praising Intentionally. This is a story that has been a little while in the making, so some of you have probably already heard bits and pieces of it, but I wanted to put it all together into one post, so here goes. Sunday, July 24, 2011. This is the existing Good Shepherd Happy Children's Home. Nick, Becca, and me reading the Jesus Storybook Bible with the kids. Becca teaching how to read clocks at the children's home. Momma Tammy helping with teaching clocks.

Randi's Walk: Hanging Out on the Coast

http://randiswalk.blogspot.com/2011/07/hanging-out-on-coast.html

Friday, July 1, 2011. Hanging Out on the Coast. Quick side note about George. He and his wife Joyce were both great, so fun and a real picture of Ghanaian hospitality, so good to us the whole time we were there! Up to date update: John has gotten so many call and emails from people who were at this meeting since we've gotten back! He said he will definitely have a couple of them on his next team this fall and many more in future projects.). I really am thankful for this experience, as challenging as it w...

Monday, July 26, 2010. It feels like it's been forever since I've been able to blog! On July 15th I aksed that you all would pray for the release of shipping containers on the docks in Port-au-Prince. The ministry here has been waiting for supplies critical to building projects on our compund. Last week most of our project took a day to fast and pray for the release of the containers, and the next day 4 of the most critical containers were released! Tuesday, July 20, 2010. Saturday we went into Port-au-P...

Saturday, February 20, 2010. Our Night in the Domincan. Once we got back to our rooms, we were able to take advantage of two things that had been missing from the previous days- showers and internet. We were able to reply to all the emails from news stations and update everyone with our travel plans, we even got a few phone calls out to family through skype. I caught everyone at home in the living room at the same time, that was great! When we watched the 27 news coverage. From a couple nights before, an...

Randi's Walk: The Moral of the Story

http://randiswalk.blogspot.com/2011/07/moral-of-story.html

Wednesday, July 6, 2011. The Moral of the Story. There are so many ways that God answered m prayer to see His "Bigness" throughout the trip. Honestly, I feel like everything that God revealed to me throughout the trip tied back to this prayer, that in itself is a revelation of God's faithfulness and bigness to me! So yeah here are some sweet things God did in my life in Ghana, can't wait to share more with you as God puts them on my heart! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

Randi's Walk: The End of the Beginning

http://randiswalk.blogspot.com/2011/06/end-of-beginning.html

Sunday, June 19, 2011. The End of the Beginning. Also, if you want to hear a little different perspective from the trip, here is a link to Becca's blog too. I loved getting to know this girl over the last couple weeks and I think she's pretty great :) Plus, she's a teacher, so she's definitely a little better with words than me! But I'm getting a little ahead of myself. Becca had been sipping iced coffee all night and was wired, which was great, and so many fun stories kept the evening interesting! Subsc...

http://randiswalk.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html

Wednesday, March 31, 2010. So when I promised to blog everyday, I was, of course, over estimating my ability to fit a million things into one day on Big Break. In fact, I really only have like 15 minutes this morning to give you a quick update, so I will give you a lot of pictures, a little explanation, and a promise of a few deep thinking entries written on the drive home. As promised, here are some pics too. Great tacos and wonderful salsa music! Here's a view from our hotel room of our amazing beach.

Tuesday, August 3, 2010. Home Again, Home Again! Praise the Lord I made it back to Wisco safely last night. I can hardly believe I'm. Home, it's great but so weird at the same time. Monday, June 4, 2012. GAME 3: Royals 2, A’s 0. KANSAS CITY - The Royals carried a woeful 6-18 record at home into their game Sunday against the struggling Oakland Athletics, but Royals fans were able to witness the kind of timely hitting and solid pitching they had longed to see at Kauffman Stadium this season. Before the game, Eric Hosmer had cautioned fans not to worry. All the Royals had to do was get a couple of players hot, Hosmer said. The “someone” happened to be Eric Hosmer. He loaded the bases w...

Monday, May 27, 2013. Last year, I was approached to help develop a feature film based on the graphic novel, Louis Riel: A Comic-Strip Biography. I wrote a treatment and then animated the following as a proof-of-concept for the general look of the film. I wanted to keep the really distinctive look of Brown's characters, which were really reminiscent of Harold Gray's Li'l Orphan Annie. But, since I never like hard work to go to waste, I present the short film here for you to see what might have been.
