Sunday, May 17, 2009. Well I must say, I have enjoyed having a blog this year and I'm glad Mrs. Bell made it part of our class assignments. It's nice to have something to look back on and to be able to see all of the projects we've done, like the visual arguments or research papers. Overall, I think it was a good year and I'm very glad I took this class. My favorite part of it definitely was reading Blue Like Jazz. It was such a good book! And I hope you'll come visit from time to time if you'd like to!

Monday, March 30, 2009. This post is in honor of up coming Passover, a very special holiday too often overlooked by Christians. A couple years ago I read a terrific book called. The Feasts of the Lord. The Feasts of the Lord. The authors write that this is because Jesus knew the Jews would not accept Him yet, and so His joy would be incomplete until then. All sarcasm aside, I truly find it disturbing that Dawkins and others put so little value on religion, and think it can be so easily replaced with other things, such as science.
