We recently took a trip to Homedale, Idaho the last time we went to Idaho was when Derick was 4, Libby was 2, Malea was 11 months old and Gavin.well he was not even thought of! Now look at these kids, they sure do grow. We of course could not go to Idaho without Great Grandma's famous hot cakes! We learned and explored new things, after all we are all city folk (well the kids and I are). Like How Ice Sticks To Your Lips. Yes that is Nick playing with Barbies.

Never A Dull Moment. Thursday, July 25, 2013. Some like it HOT some like it COLD! Lately it has been so hot, we decided to journey to somewhere cool! We drove to a river and then started to walk. And stop to take cool pictures. Then we finally we found the perfect spot to dip our feet and hang out! When taking this picture the kids kept complaining how cold the water was, you just can't please them). I think we found the best place with a ledge. WOW we really needed to relax! Our sweet, wonderful, crazy life. Sunday, July 19, 2015. It was a great Mother's Day getting spoiled with breakfast in bed and lots of sweet little notes and cards from all my favorite people. I still can't believe I went from 2 kids the last Mother's Day, to 5 kids! I sure felt like I was mothering to the max of my abilities. Actually way beyond my abilities, but I had some serious Divine help because it was beyond what I could do alone. I sure love those kids and Im very grateful to be their mother!

Saturday, August 10, 2013. Today we took a trip to a fruit farm to pick blackberries and peaches. We played on a inflatable slide, ate some yummy fresh food, picked lots of fruit, and listened to some music. I just got done turning those yummy blackberries (blueblackberries according to Lucas) into freezer jam and I am planning on making a peach trifle tomorrow and maybe some peach jam.
