Monday, August 26, 2013. My little Cyclone Tiger! Gracie and Owen after having their faces painted at ISU Fanfest. For his birthday, Owen had a very full day, starting with pancakes, followed by a birthday donut from his DAD! Gracie is taking a friend with her for her birthday. Gracie had to try on the mask, too. Owen wanted a football cake again this year, so here it is again. More fanfest pictures.Owen trying to throw the football through the holes. Owen's new movie, "Puss'n'Boots." He was excited.

Sunday, May 17, 2015. Mother's Day Weekend and More. I couldn't have asked for a better mother's day weekend. I got a little of all my favorite things throughout the weekend. Nick and I competed in a relay race on a team of 6. We started in Jefferson, IA Saturday morning and took turns running 72 miles until we ended up in Des Moines. Monday, December 29, 2014. Finally Christmas is here and we can all just relax, right? Family pic on Christmas Eve after church. As we have done for a few years, now, Nick and I hosted my side of the family for Christmas Eve dinner. This year, just my parents and Grandmas Jeanne attended, but I'm always so glad they can come up to join us. All were healthy for a couple days and the kids are always so excited to celebrate! Gracie and Owen in their crazy poses for Christmas. SoThank goodness Santa came!

However, it seems that the time is passing much more quickly than I'm willing to admit. Monday, September 15, 2008. This weekend we went to Bear Lake. I had never been there and it was beautiful, clean, and warm. My kinda lake! They say people call it the Caribbean of the Rocky Mountains. Also Bear Lake is the only natural lake that produces sea shells. Since the busy season is over we got a cute little one bedroom cabin for us and Nilla for only $45. It was a great deal and we just wanted to get away! The beach was beautiful and Nilla loved it!
