Friday, May 27, 2011. This is a picture of Luke and Julia on their first day of preschool. And on their last day. They really enjoyed Mrs. Knapp as their teacher. Luke is following in his dad's footsteps loving legos. It was pretty cute watching all the boys gravitate together. Most of them were trying to build cars. Julia pretending to be teacher with her good friend Sybil. As they walked on stage they got a glimpse of Elyse and they were SO EXCITED TO SEE HER! They both were saying, "There's bugaboo!

Sunday, August 28, 2011. As we approach our last week of summer before school starts I thought I would post a few pictures of our summer highlights. We took a "mini vacation" to Minneapolis to do the theme park, rain forest cafe, Build a Bear, and of course.hotel swimming! Luke and Julia LOVED the amusement park and even rode a rollercoaster. Friday, April 22, 2011. We got to go to Beauty and The Beast with Alexa, Grandma, and Aunt Callie. It was an awesome performance. Here is a picture of the girls acting like Belle and Luke posing as Gaston (he is flexing his muscles). Making cookie dough with mom. Luke has made huge strides since his first practice. Thursday, November 11, 2010. We went to Lincoln to visit Aunt Meghan and did lots of fun fall things! We carved pumpkins, went to a HUGE pumpkin patch and visited the zoo! Grandma and Julia intently working on their pumpkin. This is Luke and Julia before a Halloween party. This was after trick or treating. Whenever someone would ring our doorbell Luke would RUN to his basket of candy that he had gotten trick or treating and give out his OWN candy! It was so sweet! 6 Months/6.5 months. First Day of School.

Tuesday, November 1, 2011. I have done a really poor job of blogging lately. I apologize. Below is a recap of our fall events. Julia had a pumpkin delivery service. She came up with this business idea all on her own. She made signs, bought and delivered pumpkins. She is $15 richer now! It was a great learning experience for her. We went to Grandpa and Grandma's this fall and their neighbor Rex made the the LARGEST leaf pile ever! Julia was Jessie off of Toy Story for Halloween. Elyse was Winnie the Pooh!

Saturday, July 2, 2011. The kids had a lesson with Grandma this weekend about what exactly the fourth of July meant. I am pleased to announce that Luke and Julia know it is America's birthday and why we celebrate! Here are some pictures from our fun day at the parade with our cousins! Julia picked out her own headband and wore that hard piece of plastic on her head for 6 hours with out taking it off once! Luke picked his own 4th of July shirt out. He was SO PROUD of it! So thankful for my family!

That is her nickname, which they use more often then her REAL name! She likes to sit in her excersaucer and jumperoo. She rarely likes to lie still anymore or sit in a bouncy seat! Wednesday, March 30, 2011. First Set of Wheels. Luke and Julia just celebrated their 4th birthday (more pictures on that to come later). We got them a gator to share for their birthday. This caused a HUGE meltdown on Luke's end, because he wanted to be the FIRST ONE TO DRIVE!
