Wuhan: Day 26, 27. Well, didn’t update yesterday because I was really tired. Woke up at 8 to do my laundry, then left the hostel around 10 for breakfast with the usual. After that we headed to the IT mall, where we bought stuff. The last time I was here, I bought a screen protector, but the wrong size! PS Yes I know, the terminator thing is getting irritating, but hey, it’s a way for me to sign out. Better than going XOXO and all that.). March 31, 2009. Wuhan: Day 38, 39, 40. Wuhan: Day 33 to 37.

I dare say, today was the best of all days, because, I Went SHOPPING! A one hour bus drive cum catch up on sleep ride led us to a shopping district, Jiang Han Road Shopping Area, which happens to be china’s biggest. It was huge, but a lot of the stuff were china brands and expensive. HOWEVER, I still got like 4 items for 100 sing, so it’s a very very good buy. Today we had Tang bao again here’s describing it. Cheapest dry cleaning EVER. What I think about counting the number of days left is kind of silly. I’ve only just adapted here, and starting to like the place. But still. Home is home. Monday, April 13, 2009. Day 36 of embracing China. Today, was us waking up at 7am to go over to the ece's side for leadership/teambuilding day. It was also a first to visit their campus. The ride was about an hour long. As usual, everyone fell asleep in the bus! Next up is lunch! They have this whole row of resturants just outside the campus that sells fishballs. I think, the ece people eats fishballs for breakfast, lunch and dinner? I rather, just fall to the ground? Haha And last one was rock climbing.

Friday, April 10, 2009. Stomach status : Hungry. People in bunk : Ernest , Jit Siong , Xin Rong , Jia He , Stephen. Activity: Maggie Mee party. We're like a pack of hungry wolfs. I cook the noodles as usual and we ate it like. 5 mins. Finish it up within an hour a full pack of noodles consist of 5 pack of noodles. The party last till 4.00am. everyone was sleepy. Tuesday, April 7, 2009. Day 34 and 35 of embracing china. Sunday - Lulin Resort. It was a 4 hours ride to the resort. The journey was a very bumpy one. Best ride ever. The bus driver is crazy. He likes to speed, overtake and honk at every moving object he sees. But i guess, its good? Since he speeds and it took us 4 hours. I can't imagine if he's a slow driver. We'll go crazy over the long journey. Lunch first, at this restaurant. Most of the dishes prepared are spicy. See the reds? Yup, we reached!

Tuesday, April 14, 2009. Last day of embracing china. =(. Our trip back to Singapore. Everyone was busy packing their stuffs the night before, trying to stuff their china purchases into the suitcases! Including me. So early in the morning, we have to take our luggage. For weighing and also to empty the rooms. Seeing the room, so bare. Reminds me of when we first came to wuhan. Everything feels so weird and unfamiliar. But within those 6 weeks, it became a home and sanctuary. I'll miss this path.

View my complete profile. Wednesday, April 8, 2009. At round 7 pm we went out for dinner, we ate our dinner at the streets outside our school. The food there were oily and YUMMY too, haha. It was really tasty; i ate grilled Song Tong and mushroom chicken fried noodle with egg. I can see that Mr Chua and Mr Ma were really concern for us especially our health conditions. Just like we my friend Shu Gen gets sick, Mr Chua every day SMS me whether is he alright, is he getting better? Me palying table tennis.
