Nidderdale AONB Walling Group. Keep up to date with the comings and goings of the NAWG. Friday, 21 November 2014. Nidderdale Way at Longside - Wednesday 19 November 2014. A team of five (Catriona, Chris, Graham, Roger and Tony) were back to work on David Brown’s wall. Tony diverted over to the Longside Wood path to complete the cheek end of the downhill wall. We can now say that this task was finally completed at 12 noon today. Time to tidy up as full time is called for today. Friday, 14 November 2014.

On arrival we welcomed a new member Chris Wolf who has some previous walling experience and would like to further develop her skills. The task for this shortened day was to carry out further work on gaps 9 to 13 and make a start on gap 14. At gap 13 with Graham, Catriona and Chris Wolf. At gap 14 with Richard, Roderick and Paul.

Catriona, and a couple of Richards met on Wednesday morning to finish the wall end at Longside. The spirits were warm and sunny whilst the weather was muggy and damp. The object achieved Richard the elder decided a spot of show jumping was in order, just to test the strength of the build. We present a mid leap shot here; the after shot is too upsetting to publish.
