The Illustrations of Andreas Erstling. Tuesday, 29 March 2011. Here's a little peek at some sketches. Pretty straightforward. Sketches were done in pencil and the final black and white illustration was done with brush and ink. Tuesday, 22 March 2011. Long time no see. Here's a few interiors from the last 3 books I have been so lucky to work on. The first is from "Sten becomes a mascot" by Peter Hindsgaul. Just found it going through the stuff on my computer, and thought it might be nice to post here. The text is just for fun. It wasn't a paid job or anything. The Illustrations of Andreas Erstling. Thursday, 2 June 2011. Pinned - work in progress. Sorry for the long absence :) It's been a crazy hectic month. I will post some of the illustrations I've been working on soon. But I have to wait for the books to come out. In the meantime you can have a look at this little "work in progress". This isn't a commisioned piece, which is one of the reasons I took the liberty of changing the image completely from early sketch to later sketch :). Anyway, here's the images.
