Art of NAD: Summer Commision Work
http://artofnad.blogspot.com/2014/09/summer-commision-work.html
Something, something, something. Mandag den 22. september 2014. Some work I did in the summer, first is two portraits for the staff at "Arsenalet," in Viborg. The place me and many other animation related companies have their offices. The pictures should look like old officer portraits as the Arsenal (and the whole Animation Workshop) resides in an old military compound. On a personal level I also took inspiration from the air of Miyazaki's etheral "Laputa - The Castle in the Sky.". Its very well kept!

In may I did 15 Illustrations for the "Snapsting Magazine," in Viborg, (Denmark) as the town lately have been starting to revive this yearly event. In the ...

Something, something, something. Mandag den 27. februar 2012. Animating at "A Dream". In January and February us animators had a break from our own bachelor films, when we were send to animate on the final short films by the animation directors at the National Filmschool of Denmark. I animated at the short, "En drøm" (A Dream). In the course of eight weeks I made this:. Abonner på: Indlæg (Atom). Something, something, something. Tirsdag den 14. december 2010. Ever since the start of this semester our neighbor class "Computer Graphic Artist" has been working on the TRAILER PROJECT! Divided into seven groups, they've each gotten an old movie which they then have had to make a trailer of, with new design. In week 47 and 48 my class was then supposed to animate the their trailers, based on their animatics using their rigged models. I animated the following shots:. Abonner på: Indlæg (Atom). http://artofnad.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Something, something, something. Tirsdag den 8. november 2011. Yes, hah hah! That's me now. Because now I have a so-called "professional" blog, the portfolio of Niels Andersen Dolmer. It's a place where I post only the best of my work, de crème-de-la-crème. So if you've gotten enough of all my crazy ramblings and are just too good for all the dirt on this page, go take a look at the new blog, it's shiny! Ofcourse this blog will keep updating with dirt and rambling. Abonner på: Indlæg (Atom).

Something, something, something. Søndag den 15. maj 2011. My roleplaying character, Belkar. Or, how he is dreaming of being, the little hobbit! Tried to be a bit more saturated with the colours than I usually am. (But as I can see from my home computer, the saturation depends more on your screen than my choice of colors when I made the picture! Abonner på: Indlæg (Atom). Something, something, something. Fredag den 19. november 2010. Animation from week 44 when we had Sydney Padua (you can see her work here: http:/ sydneypadua.com/) teaching us four legged cycles. I choose to make a "galloping" cow. The way they run makes me wonder whether they're actually made for running after the way we've been breeding them for centuries. Abonner på: Indlæg (Atom). Something, something, something. Tirsdag den 26. oktober 2010. In week 40 and 41 we had walk and run cycles. We got alot of time just for the basic walk:. We didn't get much time for the characterwalk, so the next one is on thirds (ie I've only worked on every third frame), except for the legs. I followed the guide layed out for a flamboyant walk in Richard William's "Animators Survival Guide:". Finally we got the task of doing a "basic" run:. Lørdag den 9. oktober 2010. Mercy your cruelness, mercy!

Something, something, something. Mandag den 18. april 2011. Escape of the Wormbot! Since the beginning of 2011, my class and the CGA class had been working in pairs of two to create a scene with a four legged creature of our own design. I was fortunate enough to be in group with Dennis Jensen. The poor thing was used in cruel experiments focused on creating a robot fuelled by the gasses of a mutated worm - but it escaped before they could finish it! Abonner på: Indlæg (Atom).
