Back to Main Page. This is the top of the driveway where it meets the street. It drops sharply from here. Down the hill about 100 feet from the street, the driveway turns right toward the house. After turning right on the driveway you are looking essentially north. If the house were built you would see the garage (south) side of the house from the lower level. Back to Top of Page.

Back to Main Page. As you can see, excavation is pretty much completed. The view is toward the West. The pad can now be laid out. This view is looking Eastward from the bottom. There is still quite a bit of rubble to remove before the pad can be laid out. Before the slab can be poured the utilities must be carefully placed. Back to Main Page. This is the electric transformer at the street, next to our driveway. This was a major expense as the nearest power was nearly a quarter mile away. The good news is that we will recover much of that cost in the future when the neighbors around us link up to this box. No, wait a minute! This is NOT a submarine lost in the mountains. This is a 500 gallon propane tank up near the street. The well is 325 feet deep. Here you see the well contractor installing the pump. Back to Top of Page.

They (whoever they are) say that a picture is worth a thousand words. These images tell a heckuva story. This one to the left shows a typical early dawn view of the Sangres from the homesite. Back to Main Page. The Main Floor walls are constructed in the same manner as the Basement Walls, using Rastra Block filled with concrete. This view, from the Main Floor, is looking West. From the Main Floor, looking south through the Dining Area windows, you can see the Aspens beginning to display their Autmn colors. Here you see a mysterious tube coming from the sky.
